Each refrigerated food and cold storage operator, as every food producer, is responsible for the quality and safety of the food products under his control. Therefore, the continued attention to quality and food safety is a major concern for the refrigeration industry. First, there are since long legal obligations on GMP, HACCP and Self Control. Secondly, there are the increasing demands of retail stores, such as a HACCP, BRC, IFS or ISO22000 certification.

Also for the refrigeration industry,  IPV offers training and guidance to assist coldstorage companies in their efforts to increase food security and preserving the quality of the food stocked in their warehouses.
